Cookie Policy

DomeScribe sets one kind of cookie without asking — the session cookie that keeps you signed in — and one kind only with your consent: product analytics. There are no advertising or retargeting cookies.

Strictly Necessary

Required for the service to work; they cannot be switched off.

  • Authentication session cookie (httpOnly, Secure, SameSite) — keeps you signed in; access tokens themselves stay in memory and are never written to cookies or localStorage.
  • Consent choice — whether you accepted or declined analytics is remembered in your browser's local storage (not a cookie).
  • hCaptcha — may set its own cookies on sign-up and account-recovery forms, where it protects against automated abuse.

Analytics

Off until you accept them in the cookie banner. We use PostHog to understand which features are used and where people get stuck. We do not use Google Analytics, error-tracking pixels, or any marketing or retargeting cookies.

  • PostHog product analytics — page views and feature usage, only after consent.

Third-Party Cookies

Stripe may set cookies on its own checkout and billing-portal pages when you pay or manage a subscription; those are governed by Stripe's cookie policy.

Managing Your Preferences

Choose "Necessary only" or "Accept analytics" in the cookie banner when you first visit. To change your choice later, clear the site's data in your browser and the banner will ask again, or email privacy@domescribe.ai.
